Pea soup with mint

Steps

Cut the onion, just into coarser wheels

Roast slowly in oil until transparent

Add the cumin seeds and grind a little pepper

Add the peas, put 3 handfuls aside

Pour over the broth, gently salt, bring to a boil and cook over low heat until the peas are soft (takes about 6 minutes).

Add mint leaves and remove from fire

Blend into a smooth cream and push through a sieve

Add peas you´ve set aside. If still a little frozen, it will melt quickly in hot soup
