Onion creamy soup

Delicious onion soup. We like it especially as an elegant solution for the left over onions. If we have some different onions left, they end in this soup.

Steps

Quarter onions and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add crushed garlic cloves and let the garlic release its aroma.

Pour in the broth/ water, just underneath the top of onion level

Salt and pepper, cook until soft, takes about 10 minutes.

Add cream and miso and blend

Season with lemon juice, serve with chopped herbs like garlic chive or parsley.

It is better to first dilute the miso with the soup in a bowl, and then pour into soup.
