Mango – cilantro chutney

Chutneys are distinctive thicker sauces, which are great to serve with less pale dishes such as steamed vegetables. It is usually a combination of fruit, spices and herbs. Chutney not only adds flavor but also promotes digestion.

Caramelise sugar on the pan and add diced mango.  Fry and let cool.

Meanwhile, clean and cut other ingredients. Blend all and enjoy the chutney straight away, for example over the toast of wholegrain bread.
