Kale salad with sesame

Steps

Start with kale and tear small pieces off the stems, discarding the stems, rinse the leaves and allow to drain properly

Place into a larger bowl together with grated carrots and thin slices of onion.

Now prepare dressing: mix the lemon or lime juice, a tablespoon of maple syrup, a teaspoon of Tamari, 3 tablespoons of tahini, chili, pepper and salt to taste

Then use your hands to firmly start massaging it all into the vegetable, as you do this you’ll feel the kale leaves soften and wilt

Keep massaging them for a few minutes to make sure they’ll really soft,

Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds and slices of ripe avocado.
