The base is a pumpkin puree. First peel your pumpkins, deseed it and boil it. Then drain, leave just a bit of water and blend

Then add soft curd cheese, the egg, salt, pepper and (gradually) kids porridge

The dough ought to be compact and slightly sticky. Let it rest in a fridge for 30 minutes

Meanwhile, fill a large pot with, add salt and bring to a boil

Shape the gnocchi with two spoons. It is recommended to dip it in cold water each time, to prevent the dough from sticking. Then throw it straight to the pot of boiling water. Carefully of course

Boil the gnocchi until they rise to the top

Drain the gnocchi and fry it in a pan on a knob of butter. Add herbs

Serve with grated parm cheese

Our recommendation

You can make it sweet with cinnamon and maple syrup. Just avoid the salt and pepper in the recipe
