Delicious chickpea hummus

Surely everybody knows hummus. This yummy comes from Middle East and gained its popularity all around the world. Have you ever tried to make it from scratch?

Soak your chickpeas overnight and then boil it in the very same water.

Once your chickpeas are soft add tahini paste, lemon juice, olive oil and blend it untill it’s smooth.

Now you can dish your hummus up. Bowl is a perfect choice. Garnish it with sesame seeds, chilli or paprica powder, parsley and drop of olive oil.

Hummus can be used as a spread on a pastry or you can eat it with raw vegetable. For instance a sliced carrot, cucumber, celery stalks, tomatoes, bell peppers or a radish.
