Cover with a lid and it´s ready in about 10 minutes

6

Fry the finely chopped onion with bacon (or other), add the crushed garlic, cumin, nutmeg, salt, pepper and fry for a while, let everything release the scents

7

Remove from the fire and stir in the buckwheat

8

Cut the hard part of cabbage leaves to make good wraps

9

Fill the leaves with the buckwheat mixture and roll

10

If it won´t keep the shape, pierce it with a toothpick or gently tie with kitchen twine

11

Lay the wraps on the baking sheet

12

Pour a little broth in and let bake for about 20 minutes

13

If you don´t want them crispy on the top, cover the pan with aluminum foil.

If you are not fond of buckwheat, replace it with boiled rice.
