St Jacob’s scallops live all around the world in shallow waters. They’re favoured for the delicate taste and contain a lot of nutrients supporting cardiovascular system and repelling intestinal cancer. Scallops are also a great source of vitamin B12, omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, iodine and calcium.
St Jacob’s scallops can be consumed raw. We recommend you to pan fry them on a spoon of butter or grill it. Always mind the of preparation must be short! Otherwise the emat gets too dry and tough.
