This smoothie is a kick-off - you can drink it instead of a morning coffee!
1 pineapple (peeled and cut in cubes), 7 stalks of green celery, 0,2dl water
Blend the pineapple, water and celery in a blender until smooth. Yummy!
Tip: People usually say we shouldn‘t mix vegetable with fruits. It is true when talking about vegetable containing complex carbohydrates (carrot, cabbage, potatoes....) - because they need certain conditions in our stomach and are digested differently from simple carbohydrates contained in fruit. Green leafy vegetable (including lettuce, green celery, fresh herbs) doesn‘t contain complex carbohydrates so it‘s easy for our stomach to digest it together with fruit. That‘s why we can mix green leafy vegetable with fruit.
